Studio Events & Performances

Throughout the year, we have lots of scheduled fun events for the parents and children. In December, we throw our annual free Christmas Party (with Santa, caroling, gifts etc.). In January, we host our annual Parent’s Pub Night. As March approaches, the school gets ready for St. Patrick’s Day, as ALL dancers are invited to take part in the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Whether it be dancing with the kids or riding on the school float. This is always a fun event for all involved, regardless of the weather forecast! The dance school Class Feis / Recital takes place in the month of May. The school looks forward to participating in many local parades and festivals, including Old Homes Day Parade, Canal Fest Parade, East Aurora’s Street Fair and the Buffalo Irish Festival in August. We do lots of performing, and although first year students do not usually partake in these shows, you may want to watch a few performances by the more advanced dancers in the school. We will try and keep you informed of upcoming performances. Finally, a monthly newsletter is circulated at class just to keep everyone abreast of what is going on at Rince Na Tiarna and with all of our committee meetings.

Location Details:

Buffalo: The Buffalo Irish Center is located on Abbott Road (245 Abbott ), approximately ¼ mile from South Park / Abbott intersection.
***Classes are held upstairs. Parent’s meetings are usually held in the Claddagh Room in back. Parents should wait downstairs in the bar during classes. Relax and have a soda, enjoy some food!

Williamsville: Amherst Community Church is located at 77 Washington Hwy. off Main St, near Amherst High
**Classes are held upstairs in one of the community rooms. Parents are welcome to wait in the hallway or feel free to take a walk to local hotspots.

East Aurora: Parkdale Elementary in East Aurora, 80 Parkdale off Hamlin Rd.
**Classes are held on upstairs in the Commons room. Parents are welcome to wait in the hall or take advantage of the great school park. Teachers leave promptly to go to another location so be sure to be on time for pick up.

Hamburg: Trinity Church Located at261 East Main St 1.5 miles off the 219
***Classes are held downstairs in the great room. Parents can wait in library but please keep in mind that the Trinity pipers also practice here and have seniority so if too loud for you, feel free to take walk, wait in hallway or gazebo
